PNC 2024: Excitement of PUBG Nations Cup Begins

KRAFTON Inc. is preparing to kick off the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2024, where national teams will compete on the international esports stage of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, on September 6. This major event will take place over three days, from September 6 to 8, at Kyung Hee University, Peace Hall in Seoul, South Korea.

Following last year’s PNC 2023, this year’s organization will also be held in Seoul. The event stands out as the main event of the ‘Game Esports Seoul (GES) 2024’ initiative, which aims to contribute to the growth of the city’s gaming and esports industries.

In the event, 16 national teams from around the world will compete. South Korea, the champion of last year, will face off against top-performing international teams such as Vietnam, China, Australia, and the United States. Additionally, Indonesia’s return to the PNC after a two-year hiatus and Norway’s debut in this event are attracting the attention of esports enthusiasts.

A total of 18 matches will be played in PNC 2024, with six matches each day. Results will be determined by summing the kill points and ranking points from all matches. The total prize pool for the tournament is set at $300,000. Furthermore, 25% of the revenue generated from the sale of PNC 2024 themed products will be distributed among the teams according to the points they earn at the end of the tournament.

The event will also feature online activities such as the ‘Pick’em Challenge’, where gamers will try to predict the top four teams, and the virtual simulation esports event ‘Fantasy League’. Prizes for these activities include high-end gaming chairs and various PUBG items.

The PNC 2024 matches will start every day at 12:00 PM Turkey time. Viewers will be able to follow the matches live on PUBG Esports Turkey’s official YouTube, Twitch, and Kick channels. The matches will be presented by talented casters Utku “Utimikk” Taşyürek, Timur “Timurlengx” Günay, and Mustafa “Fanius” Gültekin.
