New Demo Update for Final Fantasy 16 PC Version

The action-adventure game Final Fantasy 16, which Square Enix has presented to us gamers and was first released on PlayStation 5 consoles, is finally preparing to come to the PC platform. After a long wait, the demo offered for PC users is being updated with a brand new version. With this update, you will have the opportunity to experience the game with a smoother gameplay.

Issues Encountered in the PC Demo

As you may recall, the demo released for the PC version of Final Fantasy 16 was criticized by many players due to in-game stuttering and performance issues. In response to this negative feedback, the development team took action and worked on a new update to improve the demo. DSOGaming used a PC system equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor, GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, and 32GB DDR5 RAM to test the updated demo. Tests were conducted with the Windows 10 64-bit operating system and GeForce 560.94 WHQL driver.

  • First scene: The part where Wyvern tries to avoid the collision of two Titans.
  • Second scene: The scene that offers the possibility to roam freely outside the palace.

In these two scenes, stuttering that was frequently encountered in the previous version was observed. However, in the updated version, these stutters were eliminated, and it was reported that the game runs more smoothly.

According to the announced information, Final Fantasy 16 is preparing to greet the PC platform on September 17. When the wait is over, players will be able to explore this enchanting world in a more stable manner.
