Currently, intensive work continues on the RTX mode for Half-Life 2. In this context, a newly released video presents us with approximately one hour of gameplay footage. Through this video, we can observe what improvements the game has and how it has transformed.

Innovations Coming with Half-Life 2 RTX

This demo released for Half-Life 2’s RTX Mode was prepared by Jacob Freeman from NVIDIA. Jacob impressively showcases most of the new Path Tracing features in the video. Additionally, the video includes some exciting combat scenes. This video, which every Half-Life 2 fan must watch, directly reveals what improvements have been made.

Half-Life 2 RTX supports DLSS 3 Frame Generation and DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction technologies. Since the new version will fully utilize Path Tracing, you will need to have these technologies. On the other hand, there is still no information available about whether there will be support for FSR 3.0 provided by AMD.

Half-Life 2 RTX is being developed by the best four mod teams known as Orbifold Studios. This team aims to provide players with a gaming experience they have never experienced before.
