As excitement builds for the Android 15-based One UI 7 update, various leaks are emerging during this process. A reliable source, IceUniverse, reported that the One UI 7 Open Beta program has been postponed. The reason for this delay has not yet been disclosed, and there is no clear timeline for when the program will start. However, according to estimates, the One UI 7 Beta program may begin in August, in line with the beta programs from 2023 and 2022.

Google will hold the Made By Google event on August 13, where the Pixel 9 series, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be introduced. In this context, the One UI 7 Open Beta program is expected to start after this significant event by Google.

Another source of leaks, chuvn8888, has also shared new information regarding One UI 7 with the public. This source, which previously leaked numerous details about the Gallery icon, widget icons, user interface, camera icons, and the Quick Settings panel of One UI 7, has now provided screenshots showing the lock screen of One UI 7. One of the most notable changes highlighted in these leaks is the new design of the pop-up battery charging window.

  • In the current One UI version, the charging status is generally displayed with simple text.
  • One UI 7 will offer a custom battery charging widget with a large progress bar within a pill-shaped widget.
  • Changes are also observed in the design of the charging bar; it will now be positioned between the redesigned phone and camera icons on the lock screen.

Additionally, the phone and camera icons located in the bottom left and right corners of the One UI 7 lock screen have become more circular in shape. The battery icon in the status bar has also been redesigned to take on a pill shape and is now positioned in the upper right corner of the screen. These innovations aim to enhance user experience further while increasing visual aesthetics.

All these developments indicate that One UI 7 will be an exciting update. Users are eagerly awaiting the new features and design changes.
