As stated by the development team, players will be able to choose from various difficulty levels or game styles before starting the game. Players who prefer to prioritize story over combat can opt for the “Storyteller” difficulty option, which will offer a rather easy experience. On the other hand, the “Adventurer” difficulty option will cater to those seeking a balanced story and combat experience.
Meanwhile, the “Nightmare” mode will provide players with challenging moments both in terms of combat and story. According to details revealed by Game Informer, the toughest among the 3 difficulty options is indeed Nightmare.
Furthermore, an additional difficulty option called “Unbound” is available in the game. With this difficulty option, players can customize their gaming experiences by making various adjustments. This option includes features such as aim assist and automatic aiming options. Players can also choose how much damage they will take from enemies and how much damage they will deal, and it’s worth mentioning that there is an option for immortality as well.
Finally, the publisher EA announced last month that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released this fall.
