Aiming to offer a cinematic experience.
The cinematic horror game Deep Cuts, whose publishing is undertaken by TinyBuild and development by Scythe Dev Team, has been officially announced. The game will be released on Meta Quest this fall and on PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR in 2025.
Aiming to provide a cinematic experience
Deep Cuts tells the story of film producer Elise Weber and her closest friend/creative partner Malcolm Micheaux. The duo, having a bright career, face a nightmare situation when bad cartoon characters get out of control. Players take on the role of Elise to explore the Lights Camera Faction studio and try to save Malcolm.
Deep Cuts promises to offer an intriguing experience in virtual reality headsets with its intense physics-based action system and interactive environments. Kaleb Alfadda, the director, founder, and chief technical engineer of developer Scythe Dev Team, uses the statement “With Deep Cuts, we utilized every inch of the Meta Quest hardware. Therefore, we aimed to create a unique experience by pushing all possible boundaries in the physical VR environment.”
The new project aims to stand out as an appealing game for VR horror fans. The game’s announcement trailer has been released. You can watch the trailer below.
