The first update for the eFootball™ 2024/25 season has been announced.

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has officially announced the first major update for eFootball™ for the 2024/25 season. This update introduces a range of new features and changes aimed at enriching the gaming experience, along with various in-game campaigns that users can enjoy.

New Gameplay Features

The new eFootball™ update includes significant updates to the game’s internal dynamics based on player feedback. In this context, contract limitations have been lifted; thus, users have the freedom to use all their players regardless of contract durations. This also includes players whose contracts have expired.

Additionally, automatic options for player progression have been added. This feature allows users to enjoy a more comfortable experience without having to think about the complexities created by player upgrades. Therefore, players can reset their progression without needing to spend GP.

The new “Finesse Dribble” feature offers players more options in tactical battles between attack and defense. This feature enhances the game’s dynamics, allowing for deeper strategy development.

The “Booster Slot” feature introduced with the update helps players personalize their attributes and gain extra statistics. Users can customize their players with 17 different types of Boosters by earning “Random” or “Selective” Booster Tokens. Football legends such as Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Ludovic Giuly, and Deco will be featured as Epic cards in this update.

In-Game Campaigns

The new eFootball™ update offers various in-game campaigns and bonuses for both beginners and experienced users. These events will help players strengthen their Dream Teams and enhance their experiences in both solo and Co-op modes.

• Players will have the chance to win a Showtime Messi card when they complete the “Skill Up” training.
• During the campaign, players can also earn 7 random booster tokens, 7 skill training programs, and 300 eFootball™ tokens as a free entry bonus.

In the startup campaign, special entry gifts will be provided, including special players like Highlight: FC Barcelona Robert Lewandowski and Highlight: FC Bayern Leroy Sané, as well as a chance for 2 Highlight draws for FC Barcelona and FC Bayern.

These events will help players enrich their in-game collections based on their achievements.

Messi, Neymar, and Teammates Arrive with “Ambassador Version”

The world-famous ambassador of eFootball™, Messi, is included in the game in special packages alongside 10 world-class players he has played with. These packages will be referred to as “ambassador packages” on mobile and Steam platforms.

With this update, players will have an even richer football experience and enjoy a season filled with exciting new content.
