Interesting Offer from the Developer of Grand Theft Auto 6

Rockstar Games, the developer of Grand Theft Auto 6, has come forward with new news to maintain its spot in the spotlight. According to emerging details, Martyn Ware, one of the founding members of the famous 80’s synthpop group Heaven 17, revealed that they received a humorous offer from Rockstar Games for one of the group’s iconic songs, “Temptation.”

Statements from Martyn Ware

British musician Martyn Ware stated in a post on his Twitter account that Rockstar Games contacted them and offered only $7,500 for the song “Temptation.” Ware emphasized that this offer was extremely low and they rejected it.

Ware pointed out the huge success of Grand Theft Auto 5, reminding that the game has sold over 200 million copies and generated over $8.5 billion in revenue for Rockstar Games. He expressed that the offer made for a new game with such a massive budget is quite ridiculous.

The highly anticipated new game Grand Theft Auto 6 is planned to be released in the fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The announcement trailer for the game has received great interest, surpassing 200 million views as of July.
