Leaked Dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will not be released until early next year; however, the exact dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Ultra model have already been leaked to the media by Ice Universe. The dimensions of the new device are reported to be 162.8 mm x 77.6 mm x 8.2 mm. When we evaluate these figures, the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which was released in January 2024, were 162.3 mm x 79 mm x 8.6 mm. If this information is accurate, the new Ultra model seems to be thinner than its predecessor, the S24 Ultra. It also appears that it will be slightly longer than the current model, even though the difference in size is not very significant.
Some information about the thinness of the Galaxy S25 Ultra had previously emerged. Earlier leaks claimed that this phone would be both thinner and lighter than its highest-profile competitors, the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the soon-to-be-released iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Return of the Rounded Edge Design
The rumors about the return of the rounded corner design in older Samsung phones might be one reason for the change in dimensions. While the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a flat-edged screen, the new Galaxy S25 Ultra model is expected to transition to a more rounded design. Additionally, a slight increase in screen size is anticipated: the screen size measured diagonally from corner to corner on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 6.8 inches, while it is expected to rise to 6.86 inches on the S25 Ultra.
Another rumor we have heard is that the RAM capacity will be increased to 16GB. However, it is believed that other features, such as battery capacity and charging speed, will remain the same as the current model. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be officially introduced in January 2024.
