PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Update 31.2 from KRAFTON, Inc.

KRAFTON, Inc. announced that the 31.2 Update has been released on the PC main servers for the popular battle royale game PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. The console version is scheduled to be released on September 12. With this update, significant changes have been made to the Taego map to provide players with a new experience.

Taego aims to provide players with a different atmosphere with its map inspired by South Korea. The Studio area at the foothills of the map has been completely revamped into an abandoned hospital with new structures, loot points, and cover. Additionally, the terrains around key areas like Shipyard, Ho San Prison, Song Am, and Ho San have also been improved. These changes are designed to ensure players have a smoother experience. Notably, the addition of a new bridge over the river in Shipyard enhances mobility and enriches strategic gameplay dynamics.

The Training Mode has been updated with various improvements based on community feedback. Players can now gain unlimited ammunition by using the reload button. Weapons obtained with the Spotting Tool will automatically have suggested attachments applied, helping players be more effective on the battlefield. Additionally, players can save and load their personal weapon and gear settings and receive feedback when they hit the wrong target during Sound Training.

Other updates include:

  • Improvements to spectator experience in Custom Matches
  • Nine new Mastery Medals added
  • Various fixes made on the Erangel and Taego maps

In addition, the new Survivor Pass: Zero Gravity is now available for players. These updates demonstrate PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ continuous development and sensitivity to the needs of the community.

In honor of these updates to the Taego map, a video series titled ‘The Secret of Taego’ has started airing on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS YouTube channel. The final episode of this series is scheduled to be released on September 11. Players will have the opportunity to explore the depths and new features of the Taego map through this content.
