The Huawei Mate XT offers a foldable phone experience that stands out with its three screens. With its innovative design and powerful features, this device will attract technology enthusiasts and elevate your mobile life to the next level.
Huawei Mate XT: The New Face of Foldable Phones
Huawei has taken a significant step in the foldable phone market by officially introducing the Mate XT model. This innovative device boasts the title of the world’s first tri-fold, three-screen smartphone. The Mate XT offers users a large screen experience with a design never before seen in any smartphone.
One of the most striking features that sets the Mate XT apart from its competitors is its massive 10.2-inch display when opened. The device is equipped with two hinges that allow it to fold in a Z shape. When folded, the Mate XT transforms into a 6.4-inch smartphone screen, while fully opened, it provides a tablet-like experience with its 10.2-inch size. Users also have the option to use the device in a partially opened state with a screen size of 7.9 inches. Considering the entire folding mechanism, the Mate XT stands out by offering a thinner profile than expected. When folded, this device is only 12.8 mm thick, managing to be even slimmer than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6.
In terms of hardware, the Mate XT is quite impressive, powered by the Kirin 9010 5G chipset. With a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging, it offers long-lasting usage capabilities. Its camera setup is also noteworthy, featuring a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP periscope lens that provides 5.5x hybrid optical zoom. Additionally, the strategically positioned 8MP front camera on the left side of the screen offers an effective option for selfies and video calls, whether the device is folded or opened.
The Mate XT is available for sale in China, starting at 19,999 yuan (approximately $2,800), and indeed, it attracts users as a high-end product. However, it is still unclear when the Mate XT will be available in markets outside of China, as Huawei has yet to make any announcements regarding its global launch plans.
