Apple’s New Event Plans and Product Developments

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg suggested that following the iPhone 16 event held yesterday, Apple is planning to hold another event for the new M4 Macs and updated iPads. This new event is expected to take place in October or November, where the introduction of new Macs with M4 processors could be on the agenda.

Before the “It’s Glowtime” event, Gurman mentioned that Apple is working on new iPad models, including an updated mini version. The company recently launched the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air models; therefore, it is quite possible for the Cupertino-based firm to update its base iPad 10 model and iPad mini.

While significant changes are not expected in the new iPads, it is anticipated that Apple will add a more powerful processor. Additionally, Gurman announced that the company is working on a more affordable Magic Keyboard for the entry-level iPad, and this accessory is planned to be released in early next year.

The possibility of Apple integrating an M chip into the iPad mini is also on the table. If this happens, the tablet is expected to support Apple Intelligence. However, it is not yet certain whether the Cupertino giant will integrate this new technology into the iPad mini. While writing about the October event, Gurman stated that Apple plans to introduce a new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac with M4 chips.

Moreover, the analyst reported that in addition to these products, Apple continues to work on the new AirPods Pro 3 and iPhone SE 4, which are expected to be introduced in early next year.
