The police revealed that her husband of 50 years, Dominique Pelicot, had been secretly administering sleeping pills in her food and drink, rendering her unconscious and vulnerable.

Investigators reported that he had facilitated numerous men entering their home to rape her, capturing the heinous acts on video.
