Huawei Turkey continues to make significant contributions to Turkey’s digital transformation process with its R&D investments and innovative projects in various sectors. Huawei Turkey’s R&D Center ranks 15th among the companies with the highest R&D spending in Turkey, according to ‘Turkish Time’s 2023 R&D 250 Research’, with 54 projects and approximately 1000 employees.

Huawei ranks 14th across Turkey in providing employment at the master’s and doctoral levels, demonstrating its commitment to a qualified workforce. Additionally, it ranks 11th in terms of the number of female employees, leading in diversity and inclusivity within the industry. In terms of total employment, it ranks 10th among R&D centers in Turkey, showcasing the success of the company’s employment policies.

Huawei Turkey’s R&D Vice President He Ming stated that the company’s R&D investments have created a significant impact both locally and globally. He Ming emphasized that the 54 projects developed by the Huawei Turkey R&D Center and its approximately 1000 employees have made substantial contributions to Turkey’s technology ecosystem. He also mentioned that by employing master’s and doctoral level professionals, they strengthen Turkey’s technology talent pool and make progress in diversity and inclusivity. He added that the company continues to train the future IT specialists through its academic collaborations and training programs.

Since 2010, projects developed with the contributions of Turkish engineers are reinforcing Huawei’s role in the industry in areas such as artificial intelligence, mobile services, cloud technologies, 4.5G, 5G, and 5.5G. These projects provide significant contributions to the IT ecosystem both in Turkey and globally.

Huawei is also attracting attention with its local cloud services in Turkey. Huawei Cloud offers a comprehensive cloud ecosystem to the business world, allowing the development of flexible and efficient business models in digital transformation processes. Recently, with innovations in cloud computing solutions, it has been helping its clients accelerate their digital transformation processes and achieve a stronger position in global competition.
