SUNSOFT announced that it will release its highly anticipated new game Clock Tower: Rewind on October 31 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch platforms. However, no release date has yet been provided for the Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC versions. The game will offer players various language options, including English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
In Japan, the digital version is priced at 3,300 yen, while the physical standard and Deluxe editions will be sold for 4,980 yen and 7,480 yen respectively for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Clock Tower: Rewind will also be showcased at the Happinet booth during the Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will be held from September 26-29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, giving gamers a chance to experience the game.
As a pioneer of the survival-horror genre, Clock Tower promises to turn back time this time. Clock Tower: Rewind, which will be released for the first time outside of Japan, is a revival of the terrifying 16-bit classic that dares players to explore the dark and creepy secrets of the Barrows family’s mansion. Players will take on the role of young orphan Jennifer, who must find items, uncover mysteries, and discover ways to escape from an unstoppable psychopath known as Scissorman.
Players can choose the original mode to experience Clock Tower as it was released in 1995. Alternatively, they can enjoy the game in an enhanced mode equipped with extra content and improvements. Additional features include new animated opening scenes, opening and closing vocal theme songs, dynamic comic cutscenes, creative interviews, an art gallery, a border picture, save game options, and a music player. Time is passing… Will you be able to survive?
