Meghan discovered Cesta Collective during her online shopping explorations. “I spend a lot of time just Googling, looking for brands,” she shared during a recent phone call from her home in Santa Monica. This conversation took place shortly after she and Harry returned from an enlightening tour of Colombia. “When people are online looking for things or reading things, I’m trying to find great new designers, especially in different territories,” she explained.
The artistry behind Cesta’s bags is remarkable, with each piece taking between four to seven days to weave, reflecting the dedication and craftsmanship of the Rwandan artisans involved. This collaboration not only supports the artisans but also helps promote sustainable fashion practices, allowing consumers to connect with the stories and talents behind the products they purchase.
