The Release of Concord Game Fails to Meet Expectations
The expected release of the game Concord did not meet the excitement of the players. Criticisms regarding the graphics, gameplay, and story elements have sparked discussions in the gaming world. Check out our article for details.
Concord: A Launch That Failed to Meet Expectations
The service-based shooter hero game Concord, published by Sony and developed by Firewalk Studios, was released to players on August 23. While the game was expected to create great excitement upon its release, despite the “very positive” label on Steam, it seems that these positive feedbacks have not sufficiently reflected in the player count.
The Game Did Not Meet Expectations
Initially planned to make a significant impact, Concord has only reached a peak of 697 concurrent players according to data from SteamDB. Outside of this peak, it has been observed that the game is played by an average of only 150 players daily. The low player count is clearly causing dissatisfaction among the development teams.
Concord stands out as one of the first-party games released by Sony. The game launched with even fewer players than recorded during the beta period and aims to kick off its first season in October. With this first season, new characters, maps, and much more will be added to the game. The second season is planned to arrive in January 2025.
Currently, Concord is available on PlayStation 5 and PC platforms, and players are expected to explore this new experience.
