Preparations for Apple’s Fall Launch Event

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is preparing for its fall launch event scheduled for early next month. Gurman noted that Apple prefers to announce its new iPhone models on the second Tuesday of September, which this year falls on September 10. This means that Apple may plan its event a bit earlier.

Following the announcement on September 10, the new devices are expected to go on sale worldwide on September 20. Currently, Apple’s plans for the iPhone 16 launch event are being kept under wraps; however, all details are likely to come to light once media invitations for the event start being sent out. It is worth mentioning that since Apple has not officially shared any information so far, the dates reported by Gurman are not confirmed.

However, current leaks and rumors have revealed many details regarding the products Apple will launch this year. The iPhone 16 series is expected to bring significant innovations. In particular, it is being talked about that the iPhone 16 Pro models will feature a new “Desert Titanium” color option, and the standard models will also be introduced with new color alternatives.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are expected to win users’ favor by offering better charging speeds and the thinnest bezels seen on a smartphone. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro may be equipped with a 5x optical zoom lens that was previously exclusive to the Pro Max models. Moreover, Apple is also expected to start producing the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models in India.

Looking at the Apple Watch Series 10, it is expected to have larger screens compared to previous models. However, it is also stated that some health features may not be available to users until next year. Gurman also reported that Apple is expected to introduce two new AirPods models with noise-canceling technology. Additionally, it is mentioned that the current Lightning port will be replaced with a USB-C connection.
