Updates on the PC Version of Final Fantasy XVI

The latest game in the action role-playing series Final Fantasy is currently only available for the PlayStation 5 console. However, according to official statements, the PC version of the game is expected to be released on September 17. In this context, the director of Final Fantasy XVI, Hiroshi Takai, shared various information about the PC version of the game.

Hiroshi Takai’s Statements

Takai raised important points regarding the future of the series. Previously, we have seen that some Final Fantasy games were released exclusively for a certain console and later transitioned to PC. However, Takai noted that this situation could change for the new games in the series. In an interview with GamesRadar+, he stated that the decision to bring the game to PC was made a year after the release of the PlayStation 5 version.

Takai emphasized that there is a high likelihood that future games in the Final Fantasy series will be released on multiple platforms simultaneously, and this is likely to happen. This is considered an exciting development for players.

Originally released for PlayStation 5 in June 2023, Final Fantasy XVI is now making its way to the PC platform. The standard PC version of the game will be available for sale worldwide at a price of 50 dollars. In Turkey, this game will be available for 40 dollars on the Steam platform and at a price of 1,650 Turkish liras on the Epic Games Store. Additionally, a Complete package that includes all DLCs along with the standard version is now available for pre-order.
