CD Projekt Red is continuing its work on the eagerly awaited new game of The Witcher series, The Witcher 4. During this process, some information about the game’s main character has started to come to light. In particular, the famous voice actor Doug Cockle, who voices Geralt, shared exciting details about the new project.
Uncertainties About the Main Character of The Witcher 4
In an interview, Doug Cockle made some important statements regarding the new game being developed by CD Projekt Red. First and foremost, it is clearly stated that the main character of The Witcher 4 will not be Geralt. However, Geralt will have an important role in the story.
Cockle stated the following on the matter: “The Witcher 4 has been officially announced. However, I cannot provide details about it. We know that Geralt will be part of the game for some time; however, I do not have any information on how long this part will last. The new project will not focus on Geralt, so I believe there should not be expectations for content related to him. Additionally, I do not have any information about who the main character will be. This situation excites me a lot.”
On the other hand, two-thirds of the CD Projekt team is heavily working on the next game of the Witcher series, codenamed Polaris. Currently, it is reported that there are over 400 developers involved in the project, indicating that the scope and details of the new game will be significant.
