Game Can Still Be Purchased Through the Expansion Pack Even After Removal

According to information shared via Sega’s official social media accounts, Sonic Generations, released in 2011, will be removed from all digital stores on September 9. This decision was made following the announcement of a new game titled Sonic X Shadow Generations. Therefore, it can be said that this move will open up a new space in the current game lineup.

Although it will be removed from stores, users who own the game will be able to maintain access to it. Additionally, those who do not own the game will have the opportunity to purchase it through a new expansion pack after it is removed. This situation offers an advantage to players.

On the other hand, it is also noted that mods will not be affected in the Steam version. This means that players will be able to continue using their existing mods. Additionally, the new package called Sonic the Hedgehog Legacy Bundle will include Sonic Generations, and this package will be sold for a price of $60.
