Krafton’s Investments in the Japanese Gaming Market Continue

Tango Gameworks is a studio founded in 2010, which became part of ZeniMax Media when it was acquired by Microsoft Gaming in 2021. Unfortunately, in May, ZeniMax Media announced that Tango Gameworks would be shut down. However, KRAFTON stated that with this acquisition, they would make significant efforts to continue and develop Tango Gameworks’ operations. They also emphasized that they would collaborate with Microsoft Gaming.

As an important part of this acquisition, it was expressed that new projects would be developed on the highly popular Hi-Fi RUSH brand. Notable works by Tango Gameworks in the past include Hi-Fi RUSH, The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2, and Ghostwire: Tokyo. KRAFTON stated that none of these games would be affected and that players would continue to have access to these titles.
