iPhone SE 4: Innovations and Expectations

iPhone SE 4 is expected to be released in 2024, and this new model may include significant updates compared to its predecessor. One of the most exciting rumors is that the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with an OLED display provided by LG Display. This will be the first model in the SE series to feature an OLED screen.

Another topic of curiosity is the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence platform that will be introduced at the WWDC 2024 event. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models support these new features. However, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus do not have Apple Intelligence features. Nevertheless, it is claimed that the iPhone SE 4 may support these features.

It is expected that after Apple releases the iPhone 16 series next month, it will shift its focus to the iPhone SE 4 and aim to launch this model in early 2025. If the iPhone SE 4 is equipped with Apple Intelligence, it will demonstrate stronger performance than the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models, which do not have these features.

Some details about the design of the iPhone SE 4 have also emerged. It is stated that the back will have an aesthetic similar to that of the iPhone 16, but the camera layout will be different. Additionally, this model is expected to be equipped with 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and to be priced below $500. Other standout features include:

  • 6.1-inch OLED display
  • Face ID technology instead of Touch ID
  • USB-C port
  • 7000 series aluminum casing with front and back glass covering

It is believed that Apple intends to move away from the traditional thick bezel and home button design in the SE series to offer a more modern look. There is great anticipation for how this change will manifest with the iPhone SE 4 next year.
