Apple’s small desktop computer, the Mac mini, was launched in 2010 while Steve Jobs was still alive. According to leaked information from the company, the new Mac minis will be equipped with the extremely powerful M4 processor and their sizes will resemble that of a small TV box. The width of the new model will be reduced to 9 centimeters, which means it will be almost half the size of the current model.

On the other hand, it is reported that there may be an increase of one or two centimeters in the thickness of the device. However, it is certain that the new Mac mini will occupy half the space on the desk. Although Apple has not yet made an official statement on this matter, the new Mac mini with the M4 processor is expected to be released at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. The model to be produced with the M4 processor is expected to have a lower cost compared to the current M2 processor Mac mini, which is sold for $599. In this case, Apple will either continue with the $599 price to gain more profit or choose to lower the price to attract more users.
