According to an announcement on Google’s official blog, the Google Lens feature will be activated for Chrome users on PC in the coming days. This new feature will allow users to perform visual searches without having to open another tab in the browser.

Google stated: Searching for information through images with artificial intelligence. The blog post provides various examples of how Google Lens can be used on Chrome for desktop. Here are some of these examples:

  • Plant Research: When you find a photo of a plant, you will be able to select the plant in the image through Google Lens to learn more about it.
  • Mathematical Equation Searches: While watching a math lesson on YouTube and encountering an equation that interests you, you will easily be able to search for more data about that equation using Google Lens.
