The Cybertruck Issue in Fortnite: A Disruption Affecting the Gaming Experience
Towards the end of July, with the release of a new DLC pack called Summer Road Trip, Tesla’s highly anticipated Cybertruck was made available for players on platforms such as Fortnite and Rocket League. However, this exciting addition quickly faced some issues.
A week later, many Fortnite players reported encountering an unexpected disruption during a match while using the Cybertruck. Videos addressing issues related to the Cybertruck were shared on Reddit and YouTube. These videos revealed that players using the Cybertruck were unable to use their close-combat weapons after exiting the vehicle due to a bug.
YouTube content creator Tabor Hill tested the situation by converting a truck into a Cybertruck, which took just a few seconds. He then realized that instead of hitting his opponent when he engaged in close combat, he was trapped in a loud loop. This situation caused frustration among many players, as those using the Cybertruck lost significant matches due to this error.
To resolve this issue, Epic Games released an update. However, many players using the Cybertruck still appear to be quite upset about the problems they experienced. On the other hand, Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has yet to make an ironic comment about this bug in Fortnite, which has intrigued players.
