Wildermyth: Console Edition Coming on October 22

Publisher Auroch Digital and developer Worldwalker Games have announced that the highly anticipated narrative role-playing game Wildermyth: Console Edition will be released on October 22, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms.

With this release, physical copies will also be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch. Additionally, a physical copy called “Monster Compendium” and downloadable content titled “Downloadable Secondary Item Appearance Pack,” which includes torches, shields, and more, will be offered to players.

Wildermyth was initially introduced as an Early Access title for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on November 13, 2019, and then officially released on June 15, 2021. The game offers a character-focused, procedurally generated, turn-based tactical RPG experience that places your characters at the center of the story.

Players will take on the role of a leader of a group of farmers, transforming these characters into legendary warriors. The game is filled with encounters where decisions have significant consequences for characters, provide appearance changes, and create a player-specific narrative.

Players will face unexpected threats and strange monsters in interactive battlefields. Blending humor and personal storytelling, this game offers players the chance to solve mysteries and share thought-provoking moments in a fantasy world they have never experienced before, combining harsh realities and sacrifices.
