The company published its report for the quarterly financial period ending on June 30, 2024. According to the results of the report, net sales experienced a decline of 32.5%, while the decrease in operating income was recorded at 46.4%. Despite all these negative figures, it was reported that Capcom’s overall business is doing well.
Capcom Prepares to Introduce New Games
The company stated that the decline compared to the previous year is directly related to the release of Street Fighter 6 in June of last year. Additionally, many new projects are planned to be launched within the fiscal year ending in March 2025. Currently, Capcom is working on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and it has been confirmed that this game will be released in September.
