Apple Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence Service May Be Delayed
Discover the latest developments about Apple’s artificial intelligence service. Learn about the reasons for the delays and their impact on user experience. Keep up with innovations in technology and understand Apple’s goals in this field.
Apple’s artificial intelligence service, Apple Intelligence, seems unlikely to be ready in time for the anticipated iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September. This means that the new iPhone 16 models will be launched without these features. There may be a sense of panic among Apple users excited about AI-supported features, but there’s no need to worry; this is not the end of the world.
According to leaked media sources, you won’t have to wait too long for the Apple Intelligence service. The company aims to introduce this new AI service alongside iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, which it plans to launch in October. Moreover, some beta versions of the 18.1 release are expected to be made available to developers within this week, along with AI features.
May Not Reach Full Capacity Before 2025
The Apple Intelligence AI service seems unlikely to deliver all promised features at once. In particular, some key features like the AI-supported Siri are planned to be rolled out to users later in the year. Media leaks also emphasize that some updates may extend into next year.
Apple has also noted that not every phone supporting iOS 18 will be compatible when the Intelligence service is launched. A device with the A17 Pro processor or M series chip will be required for the AI service to function smoothly. This means that other new iPhone models, aside from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, will not be able to benefit from this service.
