Eight new models have been introduced in a short time, and shortly after these models, a ninth model is expected to be announced. However, this is just the beginning; competition is likely to intensify in the coming period.

While Samsung shares some clues about its mysterious Galaxy AI phones, reports are emerging that Apple is working on a Flip-style foldable iPhone that could be released in 2026. This indicates how intense the competition in the industry has become.

Moreover, Huawei is planning to launch a three-foldable phone by the end of the year, achieving a first in the industry. These next-generation phones will be equipped with two hinges and three screen pieces. Technically, since they do not fold three times, these devices are typically referred to as “three-foldable.” However, this terminology has been used since the technology was first introduced.

Although no specific release date or price information has been provided yet, this triple-foldable device is expected to be launched at the earliest by the end of the year. While Huawei has not yet confirmed more details on this, the company’s senior executive Richard Yu Chengdong announced in an interview last week that they have introduced “new generation foldable phones.”
