According to the interview, Ms. Wilson recounted how her father would often harass her for displaying traditionally feminine traits, pressuring her to conform to a more masculine appearance and even encouraging her to alter her voice as early as elementary school. In a live-streamed interview with Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, he referred to Ms. Wilson by her birth name—a practice known as “deadnaming”—and claimed she had been “killed by the woke mind virus.” He further asserted that he had been “tricked” into supporting gender-affirming care for her when she was a teenager.

In her interview, Ms. Wilson expressed her disdain for her father’s comments, stating they had “crossed a line.” She countered his claims by asserting that he had been fully aware of his decisions regarding her treatment at the age of 16. “He thought I wouldn’t speak out and would let this go unchallenged, but I refuse to allow such blatant lies about me to persist in front of millions,” she declared.

In court documents, she expressed that she no longer resided with Mr. Musk and did not wish to maintain any relationship with him, stating, “I do not wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”

During her recent interview, Ms. Wilson emphasized her independence, declaring, “I would like to emphasize one thing: I am an adult. I am 20 years old.
