Windows 11 on iPhone 15 Pro: Is It Really Possible?

Using Windows on an Apple iPhone is probably not something you have ever dreamed of. However, NTDEV, the developer of Tiny11, a lighter version of Windows 11, has managed to turn this idea into reality. NTDEV announced that it successfully ran Microsoft’s desktop operating system on the iPhone 15 Pro.

The developer supported this claim with screenshots shared on the X platform. Additionally, they promised to share a video demonstrating this process shortly. NTDEV used the Tiny 11 Core version, the most compact version of Tiny 11 that requires only 3GB of free space, and ran it with the UTM SE emulator.

When we look at how the operating system performed on the iPhone, we can only make some evaluations based on the screenshots since no video has been shared yet. The screenshots show that the resolution and aspect ratio have been significantly reduced. The interface also appears quite cramped. Of course, given that Windows 11 is designed for much larger screens rather than a small phone display, this situation is not particularly surprising.

In conclusion, this can be considered a truly impressive achievement. However, as the developer also pointed out, the resulting outcome is far from being a practical and usable product. Running Windows 11 on the iPhone 15 Pro is a significant step in pushing the boundaries of technology, but it does not offer a viable option for daily use.
