Discover everything about the release of iPhone 16 and the latest leaks regarding iPhone 18. Here you can find the latest news about the features, designs, and expectations of Apple’s new models.
As the release of the iPhone 16 approaches, tech enthusiasts have started to get excited about the information emerging regarding the iPhone 17. However, perhaps even more interesting is the news that discussions have begun for supply agreements for the iPhone 18, expected in 2026. Information from these discussions suggests that Apple may make significant changes to its future camera sensors.
According to recent leaks, Apple plans to collaborate with Samsung instead of Sony for the camera sensors in the iPhone 18. According to information shared by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on the X platform, Apple aims to use a 48MP ultra-wide CMOS image sensor produced by Samsung, which measures 1/2.6 inches in size, in the iPhone 18. If this information is accurate, Samsung will have carved out a significant place in the production of camera sensors for the iPhone, breaking Sony’s monopoly that has lasted for years. This is certainly a concerning development for Sony.
Additionally, another leak has revealed details about the plans for iPhones up to 2027. This roadmap also includes some innovations regarding the iPhone’s display technology. Previously, it was stated that the iPhone 17 would feature Face ID under the panel; however, it seems that this technology has been delayed again. We will see this feature in the iPhone 18 Pro, which is expected to be introduced in 2026 instead of the iPhone 17.
