Sony has announced that the application it developed for PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headsets will step onto the Steam platform. Currently, the Steam page is active, and the application is planned to be made available to users on August 6. This development means that PC gamers will now be able to enjoy virtual reality games using PlayStation VR2 titles.

However, in order to use PlayStation VR2 titles, the related application will first need to be downloaded from Steam. Sony has also specified some system requirements for PC gamers to experience this. Players with the following requirements will have the chance to play virtual reality games compatible with PlayStation VR2:

- Intel Core i5 7600 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 processor
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT graphics card
