The strategy-focused city-building game Cataclismo, which has been in development by the Digital Sun team for a long time, has finally been released in early access. Currently available only on the PC platform, the game has met players through the Steam store.
Cataclismo arrived with a slight delay from its previously scheduled date and stands out as one of the latest projects from the developer of Moonlighter. Players will have to build various structures during the day to protect their regions while battling terrifying enemy armies at night. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world and successfully reflects this atmosphere.
One of the game’s notable features is its LEGO-style building system. With this system, players can place units as they wish and create defensive traps and narrow passages. Additionally, thanks to the impressive physics engine featured in Cataclismo, collapsing structures can damage not only enemies but also the player’s units. This situation requires you to monitor every moment carefully.
Finally, it is planned for Cataclismo to remain in early access until the early months of 2025. During this process, the game will continue to be developed with feedback from players.
