New Reputation System Mod in The Witcher 3
New mods continue to be developed for CD Projekt RED’s legendary open-world action-adventure game The Witcher 3. Recently, an exciting mod package has emerged that brings back the reputation system that was removed from the game. This new system is of great importance in determining how other characters will react to our main character Geralt’s choices and behaviors.
The reputation system consists of four levels.
With this new package presented by mod developer ‘Freak’, every choice you make and decision you take deeply affects your interactions in the game. Other characters can exhibit positive or negative behaviors towards Geralt based on his choices. If you have a low reputation score, those around you will approach you negatively, while achieving a high reputation score increases your chances of facing more positive reactions.
This mod features a total of five reputation levels:
- Hated
- Unloved
- Neutral
- Liked
- Respected
The starting reputation for each area is set to neutral, and you have the possibility of earning a total of 100 reputation points. By default, this number starts at 50 points. Additionally, the fact that some quests may yield different outcomes based on Geralt’s choices is one of the significant factors affecting your reputation.
