The Exynos 2500 processor is expected to power the high-end Galaxy S25 series, which will be released next year. According to the latest rumors, Samsung plans to use silicon capacitor technology in this new chip. According to reports shared by Bloter, the company is continuing its work on the development of the Exynos 2500.

Previous leaks suggested that the Exynos 2500 could outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Currently, Samsung Electro-Mechanics is busy developing the necessary testing equipment for the mass production of the Exynos 2500. The company has completed its preparations during this process and is ready to move to mass production of the chipset.

The Exynos 2500 chipset containing silicon capacitors could allow Samsung to take a significant step in hardware. Silicon capacitors are noted for having a much thinner structure compared to traditional capacitors, as well as providing a more stable voltage against current changes. This feature provides a significant advantage, especially in applications that require high performance.

Additionally, the report mentions that recent developments in the field of artificial intelligence have increased the need for high performance and that silicon capacitors could help reduce this high-frequency noise. This situation could make the Exynos 2500 more suitable for AI applications and other tasks requiring high performance.

On the other hand, there are some rumors that MediaTek chipsets might also be used in Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series. The main reason for this situation is cited as the rising prices of Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon chips. It is claimed that Samsung could use Exynos, MediaTek, and Qualcomm processors together in its new series.

However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo disagrees with these rumors and believes that Qualcomm will be the sole supplier for the Galaxy S25 series. Of course, all this information is currently just rumors, and it is wise to approach these claims with some skepticism until official announcements are made.
