Major Design Change in Google Maps Application
Have you encountered a major design change in the Google Maps application? With its refreshed interface and features, Google Maps is now more user-friendly and functional!
The Google Maps application is attracting great attention worldwide by surpassing its competitors in both navigation and mapping. Google is making a major design change in the Google Maps application to further strengthen this advantage.
Google has quietly rolled out a major user interface redesign for Google Maps, but not everyone can access the new design yet. Firstly, Android users are getting acquainted with the new design. iPhone users will be able to try out the new design later. The new design was actually seen in the beta test in February. Google then unexpectedly halted its work, but resumed testing in May.
Easier Access to Details
The new design focuses on making it easier for users to find the details they are looking for. Additionally, users will be able to easily examine different layers. Currently, every Google Maps experience takes up the entire screen. Whether you use the application for navigation purposes, to find interesting places around you, or just to explore restaurants and tourist attractions, you experience a full-screen experience each time. Then you need to return to the main screen. Navigating the application can be difficult, especially for new users.
No More Full-Screen Force
The redesigned user interface will change this experience with a new layout. Instead of the full-screen layer that once occupied the same space, you will see a page that covers a part of the screen. Since the corners of these pages are rounded, they will never give you a full-screen experience. You will always know where you are in the application and you will see the map behind this page.
