The latest Windows 11 preview build is hinting at significant changes in the taskbar. However, it seems that the Start menu has not been forgotten! Users have discovered that Microsoft is working on a new section in the Start menu where applications are categorized in iOS-like groups.

This innovation brings the app grouping concept familiar to iPhone or iPad users to Windows 11. Similar to Apple’s operating systems, Windows 11 users will be able to automatically place all applications into categories such as ‘Productivity,’ ‘Entertainment,’ ‘Finance,’ ‘Games,’ and more. Microsoft’s goal is to provide users with a more organized and accessible experience in the Start menu.

This ‘Category’ view discovered in build 22635.3930 of Windows 11 is not yet active, but Microsoft is definitely planning to implement this feature soon. You can view this innovation from here.
