Resident Evil 7 fell below expected sales figures on the iOS platform.
Resident Evil 7 disappointed by falling below expected sales figures on the iOS platform. It has received mixed reactions among gamers.
The tension-filled shooter action game Resident Evil 7, developed by Capcom studio, was released for iOS devices but did not achieve the expected success. The game attracted attention by displaying low sales performance in the mobile gaming sector.
Purchased by 2,000 People
Resident Evil 7, released in July for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all M series Apple Silicon chip-equipped iPad and Mac devices, has been played by more than 83,000 people since its release. However, this number does not reflect the full game sales as the trial version of the game is also included. To purchase the full version of the game, $20 needs to be paid. According to Appfigures reports, Capcom made a total revenue of $28,140 from the game, which corresponds to approximately 2,000 units sold.
Comparison with Other Released Games
In June, with popular games like Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage also making their way to the iOS platform, the sales performance of Resident Evil 7 came more into the spotlight. However, Resident Evil 7, which stands out among other games, could only reach a limited player base without the expected attention.
