Apple has released the public beta 1 version of iOS 18. With this update, iPhone users can now experience iOS 18. Due to the updates that came during the beta process, most of the issues have been resolved, so users will no longer need to revert to iOS 17.

Highlights Include the Saved Album Feature

One notable feature in iOS 18 is the new ‘Saved’ album in the Photos app. This feature will allow users to recover lost or damaged photos and videos. The Saved album in the Photos app will contain content that will catch the users’ attention.

Other Innovations in the Photos App

  • The new design of the Photos app
  • The ability to easily remove screenshots from the Photo Library

Feature Addressing Data Loss Issues

The Saved album in iOS 18 will help you find lost content in cases such as database corruptions. This feature aims to solve past database issues. Although a similar feature was introduced in the iOS 17.5.1 update, it is further enhanced in iOS 18.

Apple continues to introduce such features in iOS 18 to prevent data security risks and photo loss for users.
