Xiaomi Introduces Automatic Smart Production Lines
Xiaomi introduced fully automatic smart production lines that can operate without the need for human intervention. The company’s CEO and founder Lei Jun shared their new technologies in a video released on X. Jun stated that their systems are smart enough to detect and solve problems, as well as optimize their processes.
The system, named Hyper IMP (Intelligent Manufacturing Platform), has the ability to self-optimize production processes. Jun said, “We have 11 production lines and 100% of the core processes are automated. We developed all production and manufacturing software ourselves.”
High-Tech Smart Phone Center: At Xiaomi’s new facility in Beijing Changping, the upcoming smart phone production plant was introduced. The facility has a complex structure where machines can collaborate for production through automation. Additionally, devices capable of collecting dust at the micron level and smart machines are used for quality control. The facility aims to produce 10 million flagship smart phones per year.

Despite high inventory challenges, the company achieved successful performance by producing 41.1 million units last year.
