Samsung Introduces Special Edition Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Version for Athletes

Following the announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip6, Samsung has unveiled the Olympic Edition of its new foldable phone. As the global Olympic and Paralympic Partner, the company introduced this device specially designed for approximately 17,000 athletes who will compete in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition stands out with its unique appearance, although it does not differ in terms of technical specifications from the regular Galaxy Z Flip 6. The phone, adorned with gold-colored Olympic rings and Paralympic agitos, features a striking yellow color scheme and comes with a specially designed Flipsuit Case.

The Flipsuit case, designed in collaboration with Maison Berluti, is made of Venezia leather and has a vibrant color mix inspired by the Olympic rings. Additionally, each Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition comes with an eSIM including 100 GB 5G data in partnership with Orange for athletes, and a two-year Samsung international warranty.

Inside the phone, applications such as Athlete 365, Olympic Store, Paris 2024, Transport Accred Application, and the IOC helpline from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) come pre-loaded with every Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition.

For the first time in Olympic and Paralympic Games history, Samsung will provide the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition for athletes to take selfies on the podium. Through special technology, selfies taken by athletes according to the sport will be automatically mapped and uploaded to the Athlete365 service in real time.
