Trump, who was delivering a speech when the shooting occurred, was swiftly evacuated to safety. Fortunately, Trump sustained a minor injury, with a bullet grazing his right ear. His team reassured the public that he was in good condition following the harrowing event.

Tragically, one attendee lost their life in the chaos, while two others sustained injuries during the turmoil. The FBI is actively investigating the situation to apprehend the perpetrator and determine the motive behind the attack.

President Biden Condemns Violence

In response to the distressing incident, President Joe Biden swiftly addressed the nation, expressing his shock and condemnation of the violence that transpired at the rally. Biden emphasized the need for national unity and denounced such acts of aggression.

Returning to the White House, Biden stated, “There’s no place in America for this kind of violence. It’s sick. It’s sick. It’s one of the reasons why we have to unite this country. We cannot allow for this to be happening. We cannot be like this. We cannot condone this.”
