The official online store for Xbox 360 consoles released by Microsoft is officially closing down. The news of the store closure was first announced last year and it has been confirmed that it will shut down on July 29.
Store System Closing for Second Generation Xbox 360 Console
With the closure of the store available for Xbox 360 consoles, all games, add-ons, and related game information will no longer be accessible. There will be no option to download games or add-ons. However, there will be no changes to your old games on Xbox One or Series X/S consoles.
Along with the store of the second-generation console Xbox 360 released by Microsoft, the Marketplace section (marketplace.xbox.com) is also closing. To get information on how to access games and content you have previously purchased, you can click here.
Xbox Game Pass Prices Updated
A worldwide price update has been made in the Game Pass service provided by Microsoft. The Game Pass Ultimate option has increased from $17 to $20, while Game Pass Core has risen from $60 to $75.
