The “AudioAccessory” code section within HomePod suggests that this new device will have voice control features. This could mean that Apple might be developing an internal smart home hub with a screen.

The name 17,1 implies that the device will use the A18 chip and support Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence will be introduced with the new iPhones, and the announcement of the new HomePod is expected around the same time.

The new product will take control of home management through artificial intelligence and perform various tasks. These tasks may include making schedules, answering calls, controlling lights, adjusting the air conditioning or heater, and managing other smart home devices.
