Battlefield 2042 x Dead Space Joint Event Starting: What Will It Offer?

Electronic Arts is launching a brand new event for the war-focused shooter action game Battlefield 2042 offered to players. Within the framework of the collaboration prepared with Dead Space, features from the horror series are expected to be included in Battlefield 2042.

According to the announced details, a new time-limited mode called Outbreak will be included within the collaboration. In this mode, players will try to keep Necromorph armies at bay and make the best use of their ammunition. The Battlefield 2042 x Dead Space event will be accessible from 9 to 16 July as part of Season 7 – Turning Point, which was released in March.
On the other hand, it was claimed that EA sidelined the series by stating that the expectations for EA’s Dead Space remake were not met in April. The developer team, Motive Studio, released the Dead Space remake in January 2023, which received top marks from critics. Following this positive reception, the studio expressed its willingness to bring another production to the series.
Lastly, as mentioned in the news we published during the day, EA will remove three classic Battlefield games from sale on Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles this month. These games include Battlefield 3 (2011), Battlefield 4 (2013), Battlefield Hardline (2015), and all related DLCs. Starting from July 31, these games will no longer be available for digital purchase on these consoles.
