Pixelverse Welcomes Solana-Based Meme Coin MEW to its Gaming Ecosystem
Explore the latest addition to Pixelverse’s gaming ecosystem as the Solana-based Meme Coin MEW joins the fray, offering new opportunities for gamers and crypto enthusiasts alike.
Pixelverse, a prominent web3 gaming ecosystem, is set to introduce MEW, a Solana-based meme coin character, to its lineup of real-time game characters. This strategic move is poised to attract a fresh audience within the Telegram ecosystem, where the Pixelverse games are actively engaging users.
MEW will mark a significant milestone as the first Solana-based meme coin character to be included in TON, enhancing the gaming experience for users. Kori Leon, the chief operating officer of Pixelverse, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Pixelverse aims not only to create captivating games but also to establish a retail-friendly brand that appeals to a wide audience and introduces millions to our diverse product offerings.”
The addition of MEW aligns with Pixelverse’s vision to integrate various intellectual properties into its Pixel Universe, providing players with a dynamic and engaging gaming environment.
MEW, a character and token inspired by cats, emerged during the Solana meme coin craze in March. Referred to as “cat in a dogs world,” the token experienced a significant surge, reaching a peak market capitalization of nearly $700 million in early April, according to CoinGecko data.
Players participating in Pixelverse can earn token rewards by achieving victories with their in-game robots or characters. The game boasts an estimated 35 million active players, offering a vibrant and interactive gaming community. Notable characters featured in Pixelverse include the doge character inspired by the popular dogecoin (DOGE) meme coin.
