Unihertz to Release the World’s Smallest 5G Smartphone Named Jelly Max Soon
Chinese technology company Unihertz is soon launching its smartphone named Jelly Max. The company announced this news with a post on X and also shared a teaser image on its website.
Unihertz is known for making unusual smartphones. For example, it managed to attract attention with the TikTok phone, which has a 1.3-inch screen. Now, it aims to offer 5G technology in small sizes.
Jelly Max will be a follow-up to Jelly Star, which was released in 2023 with a 3-inch screen, and will feature the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and 4G connectivity.
In the teaser photo of Jelly Max, Unihertz indicates that the device may have a screen size between 4 to 5 inches. From the photo, it is seen that the device has a fingerprint reader embedded in the screen and a camera in the top left corner.
For now, apart from this information, there are no other details available about Jelly Max. However, the rapid funding of Jelly Star on Kickstarter indicates a demand for small-sized smartphones.
