Microsoft Copilot Now Available for Windows 10 Users!

In October 2023, shortly after introducing Microsoft Copilot to Windows 10 users, the company discovered a strange bug that caused desktop icons to jump or ‘leap’ between screens in multi-monitor systems while using Copilot. Microsoft took measures to prevent users from being disappointed due to this issue.

Good News for Windows 10 Users! Microsoft has resolved this issue experienced by Windows 10 users with multi-monitor systems while using Copilot with the KB5039299 update. This update was released as the latest non-security update for Windows 10. Now, Windows 10 users can install Copilot on their computers or consider upgrading to Windows 11.

According to Microsoft: ‘We are gradually rolling out a new Copilot experience for devices released after June 25, 2024. This new experience will address the issue in Windows 10, version 22H2. This update was released on June 25, 2024, and you can access the new Copilot experience now or in the coming months.’

Enjoy the Innovations! The new Copilot experience offers a more user-friendly experience by allowing you to pin Copilot to the taskbar and run it in a regular application window. This way, you can use Copilot as a separate application without opening the Edge browser.

As mentioned by Microsoft: ‘We are enhancing the Copilot experience on Windows. The Copilot application can now be pinned to the taskbar and behaves like an app. This provides you with the benefits of a typical app experience. For existing Windows 10 computers, the availability timing and distribution method may vary. Since it will be rolled out gradually, this feature may not be immediately available to all users.’
